Background

Atticus Culver-Rease is an editor, colorist and After Effects artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

After graduating from the Film Studies program at UC Berkeley, he spent four years at a production company in San Francisco where he shot, edited and colored corporate and documentary pieces. He traveled to New York, Hong Kong and the UK as a director of photography, and edited a documentary feature called Life is a Banquet (Dir. Jonathan Gruber), about the life and career of actress Rosalind Russell, which aired on PBS and screened in a number of film festivals.

In 2010 he began freelancing, and has since worked for numerous post-production houses and many of the biggest companies in the Bay Area tech industry and beyond. He also continues to enjoy working with independent filmmakers, documentarians, musicians and artists.
